Data Privacy

The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. All personal information is treated confidentially and according to data protection regulations and this Privacy Notice.

As a rule it is possible to use our website without entering personal data. Where personal data is gathered on our website (e.g. name, address or e-mail address) this is provided, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. Without your express consent this information is not shared with third parties.

We would like to point out that security flaws may occur during the transmission of information via the internet (e.g. communication by e-mail). It is not possible to provide complete protection for such data against access by third parties.

Cookies

The website sometimes uses cookies. Cookies do not damage your device and do not contain viruses. Cookies help to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small identifiers that are transferred to your device and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies used are so-called "session-cookies". They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit to our website. Other cookies are stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can adjust the settings in your browser to notify you when you receive a new cookie, allow cookies in particular cases only, block cookies in certain cases or disable them altogether and to delete cookies automatically when you close the browser. If you block or disable cookies our website might not function to full advantage.

Server Log Files

The website provider gathers and stores information automatically in server log files, which are transmitted to us automatically by your browser. The information includes:

  • browser type and version
  • system software used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of server request

This data is not attributable to specific persons. We do not merge the data with other data sources. However, we reserve the right to check the data at a later date if concrete indications of unlawful use become known to us.

Contact Form

When you contact us using the contact form the information you enter in the form including your contact details is stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case we need to follow up with further questions. By the way, this data is treated strictly confidentially in line with the German Data Protection Act; it is also protected against unauthorised access by third parties by means of meticulous technical and organisational security measures and is not - either for commercial or non-commercial purposes - passed on to third parties unless we have to comply with the law or you have given your express consent.

SSL-Software

We work to protect the security of the confidential information you input, for example when you send an enquiry to the website operator, by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This software encrypts the information you input. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address in the address bar is redirected from "http://" to "https://" and a padlock appears in your browser.

If SSL is activated the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Right to Information, Deletion, Blocking

You have the right to access free information on the data we have stored in relation to your person at any time, including origin and recipient of this data and the purpose of the data processing. You also have the right to correct, block or delete such data. Regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data please contact us using the address below:
